BLOODWORK + BODY LITERACYProactive Health that starts with your bloodwork
Functional nutrition that helps you understand the patterns in your comprehensive bloodwork, beyond standard lab ranges. Because the body is a whole system, not a set of isolated markers.
What We Look At
Comprehensive bloodwork gives us a real starting point. Instead of looking at each marker on its own against standard ranges, we look at how they relate to each other, because the body works as a whole system. Those patterns show us where to focus first.
We only add other testing when it will change what we do next. More tests aren't always better.
Who I work with.
I work virtually with women and men who want to understand what's happening in their body, not just manage it. Most come to me because something feels off and a standard panel hasn't explained why, or because they want a clear baseline before anything shifts.
People usually reach out about:
Digestion: bloating, irregularity, or meals that never quite sit right
Thyroid: feeling off even when your labs have been called normal
Hormones: cycles, energy or mood that feel out of rhythm, conception support
Blood sugar: energy dips, cravings, or a number that's starting to creep up
Proactive baseline: you feel good and want to understand your body before something changes
These rarely show up alone. Digestion affects hormones, blood sugar affects energy, stress touches all of it. That's why we look at your bloodwork as a whole system, not one marker or one symptom at a time.
This is a partnership.
I bring the training in blood chemistry and functional nutrition, the data, the structure, and the support. You bring honesty and a willingness to make shifts, even small ones.
No approach works the same for everyone. Your schedule, your budget, and the support you have at home all shape what's realistic, so the plan is built around your real life. Some seasons you'll need a steady hand, some a pep talk, and some a reminder that one missed day doesn't undo the work. I'll meet you where you are.
I'm happy to be one part of your wellness team. The goal is for you to understand your own body so you're not dependent on me.
That's what body literacy looks like.
